Our chapter was formed in 2000 based on a grassroots initiative of Human Resource professionals to create a resource for professional development and networking in Eastern Connecticut. Our boundaries are flexible and include anyone who works or lives in Eastern Connecticut or Western Rhode Island.
Our vision is to provide Human Resource professionals with a venue to enhance their knowledge and share their expertise within and outside the association.
HRLA’s goal is to be the primary advocate and resource for advancing the HR profession and its value in the eastern Connecticut community. The organization strives to provide knowledge, services and leadership to our members and the professional community by promoting current trends, best practices and new models that will stimulate individual and organizational success.
