HRLA Honors Margot Larson
Margot Larson, dear friend, mentor and HR champion, past President of HRLA and also of HRACC, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 after a long illness. Margot was one of HRLA’s earliest members and she became the Chapter’s second President. Additionally, she is only one of four members who has been awarded an Honorary Lifetime Membership from HRLA.
She owned her own HR consulting firm, Management Alternative, providing HR solutions to Connecticut businesses. In 2005, Margot partnered with another former HRACC past President, Carol Kardas (1995) to create KardasLarson, LLC.
Margot is the author of two books: Jump Start Your Life, published in 2001 and Living with Cancer: A Journey of Hope in 2013.
HRLA will be holding a Celebration in her honor. Once the details are established, they will be posted on this website.
