Tri-State SHRM Conference Postponed until August
The Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island State Councils of SHRM, sponsors of the Tri-State SHRM Conference, take the health and safety of members, meeting attendees, speakers, volunteers, and staff very seriously. In light of the declaration of a public health emergency in Connecticut, and the Governor’s Executive Order to prohibit events with greater than 250 participants, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Tri-State SHRM Conference scheduled for April 26-28, 2020. While the earlier decision to go forward was the right one at the time based upon available information, developments later in the week made it clear that postponing is the right thing to do. Despite disappointing the great number of you who were still planning to attend, the attendees’ health and well-being is our first priority.
The conference has been rescheduled for August 9-11, 2020 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. Once final arrangements are made and announced, we will automatically transfer your completed registration to August. If modifications to your registration are required, please contact us directly at lori@tristateshrm.com.
Please note that for all cancelled meetings, air, train and hotel reservations must be cancelled by the individual who booked the reservations as soon as possible. For airfare, it is up to the individual airlines to determine if they will waive change fees or issue credits for the entirety of tickets. You may wish to utilize this Executive Order for documentation as appropriate.
